SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. (WALA) – An 18-year-old man was arrested Sunday after investigators say a TikTok video he posted helped identify him as the suspect in a high-speed motorcycle chase on Highway 90 last month.
Derrick Walker faces a felony count of fleeing or eluding a law enforcement officer at high speed, one count of reckless driving, and one count of speeding in excess of 50 miles per hour over the posted speed limit. His bond was set at $11,000, and he is scheduled to appear before a judge next month.
And now Walker faces even more legal trouble. Jail records show he was booked late Thursday night on a felony domestic violence charge.
