Disaster Services Expo coming to Pensacola on April 26

PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — A disaster services expo will make emergency preparedness a little more family-friendly for Escambia and Santa Rosa County residents, according to event organizers.

2 states approved permanent standard time. Others are hoping to do the same

The event is set for Sunday, April 26, from 2-4 p.m. at the Bayview Community Center, 2001 East Lloyd Street, Pensacola. It’s free to attend.

Organizers with the Be Ready Alliance Coordinating for Emergencies said the expo aims to help residents learn to prepare for disasters by highlighting local resources.

“The Disaster Services Expo brings together local Long Term Recovery partners, trustednonprofits, government agencies, local vendors, and service providers who assist residents before and after disasters,” an event news release said…
