PACE, Fla. (WKRG) — A Pace man has been sentenced in federal court on charges stemming from a fraud case, according to U.S. Attorney John P. Heekin.

Sean Eric Thompson, 44, of Pace, was sentenced to four years in federal prison.
Thompson previously pleaded guilty to five counts of wire fraud, three counts of making a false statement, six counts of money laundering and three counts of bankruptcy fraud in a scheme to defraud the Small Business Administration and the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Northern District of Florida.
According to court documents, Thompson was a partial owner of a business in 2021 that owned a brewery and restaurant, and electronically submitted a fraudulent Restaurant Revitalization Fund application and supporting documents to the Small Business Administration…
