The City of Pensacola welcomes the return of the GL52 sailboats to Pensacola Bay on March 19 for the second annual GL52 Southern Series regatta, where teams will compete for the Pensacola Cup.
The ClubSwan 28 Fleet, an American Magic and Nautor Swan collaboration, will also join the first Southern Series event and make its United States debut in Pensacola Bay during the regatta — competing alongside the GL52s.
“We’re looking forward to returning for a second year with two great events that continue to build momentum for the sport,” GL52 Fleet Manager Linda Lindquist said. “We had a great turnout last year, and we are excited to continue to spread awareness of what Pensacola has to offer, driving our mission of developing American Sailing talent.”…
