WEAR-TV — A blast of colder air is settling across the northern Gulf Coast and the Southeast, bringing the threat of freezing temperatures to inland communities late Monday night into Tuesday morning. A Freeze Warning is in effect from 10:00 p.m. Monday until 9:00 a.m. Tuesday for inland areas of Northwest Florida and Southwest Alabama where temperatures are expected to drop to the upper 20s and lower 30s.
The immediate coastal communities are not included in the warning, as the nearby Gulf waters will help keep temperatures a bit warmer. Along the coast, lows Tuesday morning should stay mainly in the mid to upper 30s, which is cold but above the freezing mark…
