24-year-old Pensacola man faces attempted homicide charge after Escambia County shooting

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. — A 24-year-old Pensacola man is facing several charges, including attempted homicide, after allegedly shooting a man in the leg in Escambia County on Sunday night.

According to the Escambia County sheriff’s office, Trase Freeney shot the man in the leg on the 2200 block of Bobe Street around 8 p.m.
