Escambia students who earn an ‘A’ grade can get free scooter rides

A Pensacola veteran is doing her part to encourage Escambia County students of all ages to earn exceptional grades.

Judy Lopez, owner of Cantonment On Wheels, is providing free hour-long electric scooter rides to all students, elementary through college, who earn “A’s” on their report cards.

“For every “A” that a student has on their report card, they get an hour-long ride on one of our electric scooters,” said Lopez, a registered nurse who served in the U.S. Navy, who opened the business in November. “If they have two “A’s,” they get two hours of riding time on a scooter.”…
