Escambia County crash destroys electronic signboard: Florida Highway Patrol

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The driver of an 18-wheeler was ticketed after a crash in Escambia County destroyed an electronic signboard, News 5 has learned.

According to a Florida Highway Patrol crash report, the 62-year-old man was heading eastbound on Interstate 10 just before Interstate 110 when he approached a construction zone.

The man then drove through a coned-off area and hit the signboard, destroying it, according to the report.

The man was not injured but received a ticket for careless driving.
