For the fourth consecutive year, Santa Rosa Medical Center commemorated
National Doctors’ Day in a meaningful way, honoring the physicians who serve at the hospital. In lieu of traditional gifts, SRMC made charitable contributions to four local organizations in recognition of its dedicated medical staff.
Observed annually on March 30, National Doctors’ Day is an opportunity to celebrate physicians for the vital role they play in improving the health and well-being of our community. This year, the medical staff at Santa Rosa Medical Center marked the occasion by hosting a special reception and presenting donations to four deserving local charities.
- A total of $6,000 was distributed among the organizations:
- ● $1,000 was presented to Healthy Start Coalition of Santa Rosa County, Inc.
- ● $1,000 was presented to Life Options Clinic
- ● $2,000 was presented to Set Free Refuge, Inc.
- ● $2,000 was presented to The Arc of the Emerald Coast
“These organizations reflect the same commitment to service that our physicians demonstrate every day,” said Randy DeLee, Chief Administrative Officer of Santa Rosa Medical Center. “National Doctors’ Day is not only a time to recognize the incredible work of our providers, but also an opportunity to extend their impact beyond our hospital walls and into the broader community.”…
