Wildlife group claims Garcon Point retention pond gator killed illegally, FWC investigates

SANTA ROSA COUNTY, Fla. — An investigation is underway after wildlife experts say an alligator in a retention pond in Santa Rosa County was trapped and killed.

The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission confirms there is an investigation, but hasn’t released any additional information.
