National Naval Aviation Museum to Host 102nd Birthday Celebration for WWII Veteran Lt. Cmdr. Cash Barber

The National Naval Aviation Foundation invites members of the media to join in celebrating an extraordinary milestone: the 102nd birthday of World War II veteran Lt. Cmdr. Cash Barber at the National Naval Aviation Musuem.

While Lt. Cmdr. Barber officially turns 102 on Wednesday, May 6, the museum will host a special birthday celebration in his honor on Tuesday, May 5.

“Cash Barber represents the very best of our Greatest Generation service, humility, and an unwavering commitment to something bigger than himself,” said Rear Adm. Kyle Cozad, President and CEO of the Naval Aviation Museum Foundation. “At 102 years old, he continues to show up, give back, and inspire everyone around him. We are honored to call him a friend and deeply grateful for the example he sets for all of us at the museum.”…
