Baldwin County high schools receive athletic and fine arts upgrades

FOLEY, Ala. (WALA) – Two Baldwin County high schools unveiled upgraded athletic and fine arts facilities Thursday as part of the school system’s $58 million investment into all of its high schools.

The Baldwin County Board of Education has been implementing enhancements to athletics and fine arts programs in every high school. Foley and Fairhope high schools were two of the last three schools to receive the improvements.

“These expansions have been needed for a long time in our system,” said Marty McRae, interim superintendent. “Our board has been on board with this from the start of providing these new facilities for these kids. It gives them a sense of pride in what they’ve been working so hard for.”
