32 dogs seized in Escambia County await adoption after rescue

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — 32 dogs are now in the care of the Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare that were seized from a home last Tuesday.

“Earlier in the month, we had a gentleman come by and had some issues with some of his animals and was looking for help at the shelter,” Escambia County Department of Animal Welfare Director John Robinson said.

The dogs were collected and brought to the county’s facilities department, acting as a temporary shelter, with the shelter facing extreme overcrowding already this year…
