PENSACOLA, Fla. (WKRG) — The Santa Rosa Island Authority’s free Pensacola Beach Island Trolley service will return to its regular summer operating schedule starting this week.

The service will begin on Friday, May 22, in time for the Memorial Day weekend.
The Pensacola Beach Island Trolley takes riders to and from key destinations across the island. Throughout the season, three trolleys will run three different routes:
- East Route: Casino Beach to Portofino Island Resort.
- West Route: Casino Beach to Park West near the entrance to Gulf Islands National Seashore.
- Core Route: Casino Beach through the Pensacola Beach commercial district, including stops along the Boardwalk and the inner access road.
The trolley will run daily from 4 p.m. to midnight until Labor Day, Monday, Sept. 7. It will provide residents and visitors a convenient way to travel around Pensacola Beach without the stress of dealing with traffic.“The free trolley is one of the most popular amenities we offer each summer,” said Mike Burns, the executive director of the SRIA. “It gives both visitors and locals an easy, safe, and enjoyable way to experience everything Pensacola Beach has to offer without the hassle of finding a parking space.”
