I-95 Work Could Trigger Delays on Four Philadelphia Streets

PHILADELPHIA, PA — Drivers in Northeast Philadelphia should prepare for periodic traffic slowdowns beginning next week as overhead bridge construction associated with the I-95 improvement project affects several local roadways.

The affected roadways include Venango Street between Bath Street and East Allen Street; Castor Avenue between Richmond Street and the I-95 North on-ramp; Richmond Street between Wheatsheaf Lane and East Butler Street; and Wheatsheaf Lane between Richmond Street and East Thompson Street.
