A 71-year-old New Jersey man faces a murder charge after police say he strangled his 40-year-old disabled daughter at their home earlier this month.
Dennis Hall of Franklin Township was arrested on June 11 following an early morning incident at the family’s residence on East Avenue, located about 30 miles south of Philadelphia. According to authorities, the attack occurred around 6:15 a.m. after the victim, Devin Hall, wet her bed.
Devin had lived with multiple disabilities since birth, which left her non-verbal and unable to walk. Her mother, Jan Hall, described how they connected despite those challenges. “I read her a lot through her eyes,” she told WPVI. “So I knew when something wasn’t right with her, and she could sense when something wasn’t right with me.”…
