Woman with three theft convictions stole from two Warrington stores within minutes, police say

A Philadelphia woman is facing felony charges after Warrington Township police alleged she stole merchandise from two neighboring businesses within minutes before officers located her in a nearby parking lot with suspected drug paraphernalia.

Jade Crystal Gantt, 35, of Philadelphia, was charged by Warrington Township Police with felony retail theft, felony receiving stolen property and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia following the June 22 incident at the Walgreens on Street Road.

According to the affidavit of probable cause, officers responded around 11:05 a.m. to Walgreens after employees reported a retail theft in progress involving a man and woman. Store employees told police the pair took an unknown amount of merchandise into a restroom before leaving the store without paying.
