Multiple shots were fired and a police vehicle was vandalized during a large gathering overnight in Northeast Philadelphia, according to the Philadelphia Police Department.
Police said the incident unfolded around 2:45 a.m. on July 12, when officers responded to the 500 block of East Hill Creek to help Philadelphia Housing Authority Police officers who were following a reported stolen vehicle into the area.
Officials said during the incident, an unidentified person jumped onto a marked PHA police vehicle and vandalized it.
