VSP: PA man charged for speeding over 100 mph in Windsor County

ROYALTON, Vt. (ABC22/FOX44) — Authorities yesterday arrested and cited a man after they reportedly caught him speeding over 100 miles per hour on I-89 south.

Troopers specifically observed the vehicle traveling at about 105 mph Thursday afternoon, well above the posted 65 mph limit. The vehicle’s speed was measured on RADAR near mile marker 17, according to Vermont State Police.

Officers identified the driver as a 21-year-old from Oreland, Pennsylvania. He was arrested, cited for excessive speed and released to appear in Windsor County Criminal Court September 8. He was also issued a ticket for speeding, says VSP…
