Man sentenced to 3 years in prison on handgun charge in Sussex County

NEWTON, N.J. (Sussex County) — A Philadelphia man has been sentenced to three years in New Jersey State Prison after pleading guilty to unlawfully possessing a handgun in Sussex Borough, according to the Sussex County Prosecutor’s Office.

Andrew J. Deleon, 32, was sentenced Sept. 9 by Superior Court Judge Stuart A. Minkowitz on a second-degree unlawful possession of a handgun charge, Sussex County Prosecutor Daniel M. Perez announced.
