(NewsNation) — A Philadelphia city councilman says a large-scale search of the Philadelphia “House of Horrors” at the center of a disturbing investigation could keep police in the neighborhood for an extended period.
Speaking with NewsNation’s Laura Ingle, District 9 Councilman Anthony Phillips, whose district includes the Alden neighborhood where the home is located, said police are preparing to return to the property with what he described as a “large-scale warrant” that could involve an extensive search of the house and potentially surrounding areas.
Phillips said a community meeting is being held to give residents more information about the investigation and explain how the search could affect the neighborhood, including where residents will be allowed to walk and what areas may be restricted.
