Pa. woman arrested for allegedly torturing and killing animals in live videos

Upper Darby, Pa. — A woman aspiring to be an influencer has been arrested in Pa. after authorities discovered disturbing videos on her YouTube channel, where she allegedly tortured and killed animals in an attempt to gain more social media followers.

Anigar Monsee, 28, is now facing multiple charges of animal cruelty following the release of four livestream videos that showed her mutilating a live chicken, pigeon, rabbit, and frogs, according to the New York Post.

In the videos, Monsee, at times dressed provocatively, reportedly solicited more likes and followers from her 20,000 subscribers as she engaged in acts of violence against the animals.

The criminal complaint states that she used various weapons to harm the animals while broadcasting the acts live.

The most recent video, titled “Cooking lucky,” allegedly depicted Monsee slicing a chicken’s neck with a knife over a kitchen sink as the distressed animal struggled to escape, reported the New York Post. Law enforcement officials also reported that previous clips posted in August and September showed Monsee dismembering frogs and plucking feathers from a live pigeon before subjecting it to scalding water and then decapitating it.
