Bethany Beach police shakeup, Chesapeake Bay Bridge crash, Common visits Delaware

Good morning, Delaware.

I hope your Sunday morning is off to a great start. Whatever you do today, hope it goes well for you.

I want to apologize to everyone for getting the Friday newsletter in their inboxes again not once but twice yesterday. We had some issues with getting it send properly and I truly apologize for that. Hopefully, you did discover the proper Saturday Daily Briefing later than usual.

I have enjoyed the warmer weather – it was great to spend more time outdoors on Saturday. The forecast in the days ahead for the Wilmington area calls for some rain today and then a string of cloudy or partly sunny days in the low ‘40s. Stick with us for updates.

Saturday was International Holocaust Remembrance Day, and marked the 79th anniversary of the Auschwitz liberation. Read how it was observed around the nation here.

If you’ve been paying attention to the bookings of free guest speaking engagements at the Wilmington Library, you know they are consistently bringing in some amazing guests. Check out this visit from Common on Friday.
