Pennsylvania ‘Demon’ Who Killed Girlfriend, Shot Strangers in Rampage Sentenced to Decades in Prison

‘He’s an evil human being to do that to her. She didn’t deserve that at all’

A Pennsylvania man was sentenced to at least three decades in prison on Friday for killing his girlfriend and engaging in a shooting spree.

David L. Savage, 47, was sentenced to 32 and a half to 70 years in state prison by Common Pleas Court Judge John Capuzzi, The Delaware County Daily Times reported.

Savage pleaded guilty to one count of murder in the third degree, two counts of attempted murder and assault of a law enforcement officer and one count of possession of a firearm without a permit.

“In all my years, this is unlike any other case I have seen,” Deputy District Attorney Stephanie Wills said in court.

Savage shot his girlfriend Latoya Gary, 43, once in the head on Dec. 2, 2021 in the bedroom of their apartment in Upper Darby, according to an affidavit of probable cause obtained by the outlet.

Gary’s mother heard the noise and saw Savage in the hallway. Savage reportedly told the mother that everything was alright and her daughter was in the shower.
