A worker was saved after falling on a roof in Easttown Township, Pennsylvania. The Berwyn Fire Company arrived at the Blackburn Drive scene at 10:14 a.m. They found the injured worker on the roof. The rescue was difficult due to issues with the ladder truck, so the Chester County Rescue Taskforce (CCRTF) was called.

Firefighters from Berwyn and a ladder truck from the Paoli Fire Company were asked to help. The Berwyn MICU 102 ambulance crew checked the patient while rescuers planned the safest way to get them off the roof. They used a rope system and a 35-foot ground ladder for the rescue.

The rescue ended at 11:08 a.m., and all units were free by 11:30 a.m. The East Whiteland Fire Company, Fame Fire Company No. 3 (West Chester), and Lionville Fire Company also sent help as part of the CCRTF.

The Easttown Township Police Department managed the scene during the rescue. After the rescue, the worker was checked by EMS and taken to a local hospital in a private vehicle.

This incident shows the need for safety measures and preparedness of emergency services. The fast and coordinated response of the fire companies and the CCRTF helped in the successful rescue of the worker.
