The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express is set to reunite over WrestleMania weekend.
Joey Janela announced on Monday that Robert Gibson will once again step into the ring to team with Ricky Morton at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 8. The legendary tag team will be joined by Robert’s son Kerry in a trios match against Mike Bailey and The East West Express (Jordan Oliver & Nick Wayne).
Joey Janela’s Spring Break 8 takes place on Friday, April 5, at the Penns Landing Caterers in Philadelphia, PA. The show will air live on Triller TV (previously FITE TV.
Only two other matches are official for the show.
GCW Joey Janela’s Spring Break 8 announced lineup:
- The Rock ‘n’ Roll Express (Robert Gibson, Ricky Morton & Kerry Morton) vs. Mike Bailey & The East West Express (Nick Wayne & Jordan Oliver)
- Masato Tanaka & Minoru Suzuki vs. Masha Slamovich & Rina Yamashita
- Dragon Kid, YAMATO, & Kzy vs. Ben-K, Shun Skywalker & Kota Minoura
Gibson and Morton announced plans to finish up as a team in 2022. Morton said at the time he wanted to focus more on helping with his son Kerry’s career and working backstage.
