Jason Kelce Gets Real With ‘Sloppy’ Eagles Team After Narrow Week-1 Win

Last season Jason Kelce was starting at center for the Philadelphia Eagles . This year he’s analyzing them and pulling zero punches in the process.

Kelce took to social media following his old team’s 5-point victory over the Green Bay Packers in Sao Paulo, Brazil, on Friday night and was both critical and complimentary in the same thought.

“Eagles 1-0, great first game of the year against a very good Packers team,” Kelce posted to X . “Sloppy game, but when they were executing man, they are rolling. Lot of good in this one, clean up some of the first-game jitters on O and stop the explosives on D, and we are rolling baby!!”

Philadelphia turned the ball over three times on the night, including 2 interceptions and 1 fumble by quarterback Jalen Hurts . The fumble, however, appeared to be the fault of center Cam Jurgens who snapped the ball during a shotgun set when Hurts was not expecting it.

Ironically, Jurgens is the third-year center out of Nebraska who replaced Kelce in the lineup after the latter’s retirement from the NFL following last season.
