While it still takes some getting used to seeing iconic quarterback Tom Brady walk out of the tunnel in a suit instead of his pads and helmet, it remains surreal to witness his return to the place where he enjoyed so much success. On Sunday, ahead of his Week 4 broadcasting stint, he did just that.
Brady, alongside his partner Kevin Burkhardt , has arrived in Tampa Bay for a crucial Week 4 matchup between the Buccaneers and the Philadelphia Eagles , which will headline the 1 PM game on Fox , with Brady set to provide commentary.
Brady grabbed viral attention when the NFL captured him walking out of the tunnel and onto the field to assess the conditions for the game they would be calling.
“Tom Back in Tampa.” NFL posted.
Outside of his 20 seasons with New England, Brady concluded his illustrious career with three seasons in Tampa Bay, where he won his seventh Super Bowl to cap off his Hall of Fame journey.
Now, in the broadcast booth, he has faced some criticism for his performance thus far. However, he continues to improve with each game he calls, which is to be expected. Adjusting to a new role takes time, especially after dominating the football field for over 20 years.
