Eagles WR A.J. Brown clues fans in on return using Batman scene

The Philadelphia Eagles (2-2) could be getting a much-needed boost to their offense when they return from their Week 5 bye.

No. 1 wide receiver A.J. Brown has missed the last three matchups due to a hamstring injury but his latest Instagram post suggests that he could be ready to suit up when the Eagles take on the Cincinnati Bengal in Week 6.

Brown, who earned the nickname “Swole Batman” last offseason, posted a photo of the iconic movie scene of Bruce Wayne looking at his Batman suit.

“My turn,” Brown captured the photo.

The sooner, the better for Brown’s return since the Eagles have struggled without their top receiver on offense.

Brown has only played in one game so far this season where he hauled in five catches for 119 yards and a touchdown against the Green Bay Packers.

In addition to Brown, the Eagles should be getting DeVonta Smith, aka “Skinny Batman,” back as long as he clears concussion protocol.

Head coach Nick Sirianni and Jalen Hurts have each said the team is still looking for their “identity” and it’s clear that they won’t be able to find it without Brown or Smith in the lineup. But once they are both available again, then there’s no excuse for the Birds to not get back on the winning track.
