Cowboys at Eagles To Reveal One Desperate Roster Need

The Philadelphia Eagles aren’t necessarily dealing with major injuries to their talented roster, but they aren’t necessarily healthy, either.

Starting quarterback Jalen Hurts is out with a concussion, linebacker Nakobe Dean is dealing with an abdominal issue, and several other key starts find themselves either not at 100 percent or missing Sunday’s contest against the Dallas Cowboys entirely.

Lucky for the Birds, one of the players previously on the injury report is back with the team and active going into Sunday.

Philadelphia has activated edge rusher Bryce Huff to the active roster after the former New York Jets star had spent the last month on injured reserve with a broken wrist.

Before the injury, Huff had been somewhat of a disappointment this season. After signing a three-year, $51 million deal with the Birds during the offseason, the former Jets star has tallied just 2.5 sacks this season.

Now, having sat out the last few weeks with an injury, Huff rejoins a team that is in desperate need of some added pass-rushing help. While Nolan Smith and Josh Sweat have enjoyed successful seasons on their own, there isn’t enough depth at the position following the season-ending injury to Brandon Graham.
