SOMERSET, Pa. (WTAJ) — A man convicted of the 2019 Christmas morning stabbing death of a woman in Philadelphia was found dead in a prison cell, officials confirmed.
Josue Quino, 38, was found unresponsive in his cell Thursday night, Feb. 6. According to the superintendent at SCI Somerset, Kenneth Hollibaugh, life-saving measures were performed, however, Quino was pronounced dead at 11:21 p.m.

Quino was serving 20 to 40 years for the third-degree murder from Christmas morning 2019. According to original reports from CBS , Quino, who was 33 at the time, was accused of stabbing Juana Us-Perez to death and critically injuring her 14-year-old.
Quino was ultimately convicted and sentenced. Hollibaugh said he has been at SCI Somerset since Nov. 7, 2024…
