Two men, Breon D. McRae, 34, of Morrisville, and Pacqi S. Lassiter, 29, of Trenton, N.J., were handed down hefty sentences by a Common Pleas Judge for their roles in the 2022 murder of Clifton “CJ” Burgess-Williams Jr., a Morrisville man. On Friday last week, Judge Charissa J. Liller sentenced McRae and Lassiter to 40 to 80 years in state prison on charges of conspiracy to commit murder, as detailed in a Bucks County District Attorney News report.
The incident occurred on December 22, 2022, when Burgess-Williams was fatally shot while sitting in his parked vehicle. McRae also receiving an additional sentence of 4 ½ to 9 years for witness intimidation, ultimately to quite cumulatively serve a total sentence of 44 ½ to 89 years.
