Video: Man stole $25K in cash from Center City restaurant, police say

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Philadelphia police are looking for a man caught on surveillance video burglarizing a Center City restaurant earlier this month. Investigators said he got away with $25,000 in cash.

At 7:40 a.m. on March 13, police said a man wearing a black Essentials-brand hoodie and jeans broke into the rear of Tradesman’s barbecue, located on the 1300 block of Chestnut Street.

Once inside, investigators said he used a hammer to break open a safe and steal $25,000 in cash…
