Police officer rescues pony that ran onto road and gives her a new home

Sgt Ted Lewis of the Westtown-East Goshen Regional Police Department had a heartwarming encounter when he was dispatched to wrangle a tiny pony spotted roaming close to a bustling highway in Pennsylvania .

The pint-sized equine, which had recently been given over to Horse Angels Rescue farm, decided to make a break for freedom just a day after it was handed over .
