Today’s weather includes “scattered showers, mainly after 2pm” with a comfortable high near 84 degrees, though residents should expect gusty winds up to 20 mph. As for tonight, the city should anticipate “scattered showers and thunderstorms before 2am, then isolated showers” with a steady but mild southwest wind, the NWS expects less than a tenth of an inch of rain, except potentially higher amounts during thunderstorms.

Moving into the weekend, Saturday’s forecast warns of an increased chance of showers and thunderstorms after 11 am. The potential for rain jumps to 70% for Saturday night, dropping the temperatures to a low around 65 degrees.
