Police investigating after teen boy shot in Philly’s Frankford neighborhood

Police are investigating after a 16-year-old boy was shot in an incident that happened on Saturday night in the Frankford section of Philadelphia.

According to police, officers responded to a report of a person with a gun along the 5000 block of Charles Street at about 8:24 p.m. on Saturday to find a boy who had been injured in a shooting.

Officials said the 16-year-old boy suffered a gunshot wound to the leg and he was taken to a nearby hospital where he was listed in stable condition…
