PHILADELPHIA, PA.- A 55-year-old Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, man learned he will be eligible for social security benefits when he is finally released from federal prison, after being sentenced on Thursday, for the January 2023 gunpoint carjacking of a woman in Philadelphia.
According to U.S. Attorney David Metcalf, on Thursday, June 26, 2025, Kelly Stanton, 55, of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, appeared in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge R. Barclay Surrick to 144 months in federal prison, to be followed by five years of supervised release for his previously entered guilty plea to Carjacking…
