Over 80 Pennsylvania police departments targeting heavy truck violations and aggressive driving during multi-week ‘enforcement wave’

Dozens of Pennsylvania law enforcement agencies are partnering for a multiple week driver enforcement effort taking place in the southeastern part of the state now through mid-August.

A traffic enforcement effort is taking place in Bucks, Chester, Delaware, Montgomery, and Philadelphia counties from July 7 through August 17, 2025, according to the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT).

Officials say that the weeks-long “enforcement wave” will “target heavy truck violations, pedestrian safety, red light running, speeding, and tailgating” as well as driving too fast for conditions and other aggressive driving behaviors…
