On July 7, 2025, 33‑year‑old Matthew Michael Selvin crashed his car and died after leaping from the Roosevelt Boulevard (U.S. 1) expressway down to Germantown Avenue while trying to evade state troopers, according to a press release from the Pennsylvania State Police Skippack Station.
At approximately 11:30 a.m., troopers on Interstate 76 West initiated a stop of a silver Honda Civic for alleged traffic violations near mile marker 340.6.
