There is a SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH in effect for Atlantic, Burlington, Camden, Cape May, Cumberland, Gloucester, Hunterdon, Mercer, Middlesex, Monmouth, Ocean, Salem, Somerset and Warren counties until midnight.
There is a FLOOD WATCH in effect for central and southern New Jersey for area flooding expected within storms later this afternoon and evening.
After our fifth day of temperatures well into the 90s, a much-needed break from the swampy weather could be right around the corner. Well…the temperatures won’t be in the 90s, but the sticky air will linger for a few more days…
