South Jersey woman wins $8.7M judgement against Philly man accused of stealing, posting her intimate photos

SOUTH JERSEY (KYW Newsradio) — A federal judge awarded a Gloucester County woman an $8.7 million judgement this week after a Philadelphia man allegedly stole private photos of her and posted them online — accusations he faces from several other women as well.

In a civil lawsuit filed in a New Jersey federal court, Tyler J. Jones, 33, was accused of obtaining nude images of the plaintiff, identified as J.G., in Nov. 2022 by borrowing her phone and sending the photos to himself.

Attorneys for the plaintiff said Jones uploaded the stolen photos to websites and chat rooms where others could view and make comments. The plaintiff said she developed severe mental health issues as a result of Jones’ alleged actions, affecting her career and social life…
