Road Rage Leaves Woman in Critical Condition

What began as a routine Friday morning commute on the 600 block of East Indiana Avenue devolved into chaos when two drivers erupted into gunfire in what Philadelphia Police describe as a road rage incident. An innocent bystander, a 27-year-old woman walking along the street, was struck in the stomach and remains hospitalized in critical condition.

According to the WPVI-TV report “Innocent bystander shot in possible road rage incident in the Kensington section of Philadelphia,” gunshots rang out just before 10 a.m. Friday, captured on a resident’s doorbell camera. “I heard the shots and I came out, and it was two cars involved in a shooting. Apparently, it was a road rage moment,” recalled neighbor Jose Negron, who witnessed the confrontation.
