WILMINGTON, DE — A Philadelphia man is facing multiple felony charges in Delaware after investigators say he impersonated a federal agent and attempted to rob a person in a Wilmington-area bank parking lot, then fled in a stolen vehicle linked to another active criminal case.
According to the Delaware State Police, 49-year-old Khar Abdulah was arrested following a joint investigation with the New Castle County Police Department and law enforcement in Philadelphia. Authorities say the case stems from an attempted robbery that occurred on May 27, 2025, but was not reported until two days later.
Detectives say the incident took place outside the PNC Bank located at 1704 Marsh Road, where the victim was allegedly approached by a man who demanded money and claimed to be an FBI agent. The suspect reportedly indicated he was armed, although no weapon was shown, and made unsettling remarks suggesting he had been tracking the victim.
