Thousands of residents are trying to figure out their next move, in fear they will be forced out of the Philadelphia homes in the near future.
Since the early 2000s, private developer James Levin has constructed a real estate empire in West and Southwest Philadelphia, building and rehabilitating hundreds of properties across those neighborhoods to offer as affordable rentals.
Levin is now auctioning off his collection of properties to the highest bidder, which could potentially displace the thousands of tenants living in his properties around the city…
