Norristown teenager held for trial in gunshot slaying linked to gang rivalry

NORRISTOWN — A Norristown teenager must answer to homicide charges in Montgomery County Court in connection with the gunshot slaying of a borough man during an altercation linked to a rivalry between two homegrown gangs.

Kaleem Naseer Roland, 16, of the 300 block of East Moore Street, was ordered to stand trial, after a preliminary hearing on Friday, on charges of first- and third-degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, carrying a firearm without a license, possession of a firearm by a minor and possessing an instrument of crime in connection with the alleged 9:43 p.m. May 23, 2025, gunshot slaying of 20-year-old Tahaj Andru “Pooh” Harrison in the 600 block of Corson Street.
