NORRISTOWN — A Telford man has joined his brother and a Royersford woman in prison for his role in a straw purchase scheme involving six guns.
Curtis D. Green, 30, of the unit block of Reliance Court, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court to 7½ to 17 years in a state correctional institution after he pleaded guilty to corrupt organizations, sale or transfer of firearms to ineligible persons, dealing in proceeds of unlawful activities and person not to possess a firearm in connection with incidents that occurred in September 2021.
“Guns in the hands of people who shouldn’t have them are a danger to our community. Guns are dangerous. Guns kill people,” Judge Steven T. O’Neill said as he imposed the sentence, pointing to gun violence that has rocked communities like Norristown and Pottstown…
