Five area drug suspects are named in RICO-related indictment

Five suspects named in previous area drug-related federal indictments have turned up on another list announced today by the United States Attorney’s office for Western Pennsylvania.

Ten residents of Pennsylvania and Arizona have been indicted by a federal grand jury in Johnstown on charges of violating racketeering laws (also known as RICO laws), including acts of bribery.

Acting U.S. Attorney Troy Rivetti said the two-count indictment, returned on July 22 and unsealed Monday, named these defendants: Lakesha Stith, 45, Blake Young, 36, and Asiah Young-Atwell, 30, of Johnstown; Ashley Aguilar, 26, Marcos Monarrez Jr., 26, Monique Valencia, 29, and Carlos Zamora, 29, all of Phoenix, Ariz.; Mikal Davis, 48, of Philadelphia; and James Johnson-Ross, 26, and Jessica Niebauer, 34, of Altoona…
