Beasley Media Group Parts Ways with Mike Missanelli, Terri Carr, And Debbie Mazella.

Mike Missanelli has been let go from Beasley Media Group sports “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN-FM Philadelphia. Missanelli, who rejoined the station in August 2025, was hosting middays at the station with Ray Dunne and previously Bill Colarulo.

“Friday was Mike’s last day at the station,” Beasley Media Group’s Chief Communications Officer Heidi Raphael told the Philadelphia Inquirer on Friday (Aug. 8). “We are grateful for his contributions to the station and our listeners, and we wish him all the best.”

Missanelli’s Philly experience includes time at both of the city’s sports stations. He logged 13 years at CBS Radio’s sports talker WIP (610). He also hosted the short-lived “The Philly Guys” morning show on WMMR (93.3). The outspoken host returned to the market to anchor afternoon drive on Greater Media’s “950 ESPN” WPEN in 2008. When the station added an FM simulcast in 2010 as “97.5 The Fanatic” WPEN-FM, Missanelli was its highest-profile host. He abruptly exited the station in June 2022.
