Norristown man sentenced for assaulting first responders during disturbances

NORRISTOWN — A Norristown man will be under court supervision for up to 40 months after he admitted to assaulting police and medical officials during two disturbances in the borough.

Antre Rahshawn Watson, 33, of the 500 block of Church Street, was sentenced in Montgomery County Court on Monday to 20- to-40-months in a state correctional facility on felony charges of aggravated assault in connection with two incidents that occurred between April 2024 and January 2025 in the borough.
