45 roosters rescued from suspected cockfighting ring in Kensington

PHILADELPHIA (KYW Newsradio) — Forty-five chickens were rescued from a suspected cockfighting ring in a row home in Kensington on Wednesday.

Philadelphia police raided the home on Weymouth Street and also seized drugs and a gun.
